The Mexican artist Gabo Mendoza is characterized for implementing elements of the naive art movement

That is why in many of his pieces Gabo uses the extreme color that acquires symbolic character.

In addition, in many of his paintings the natural forms disappear and are replaced by unrecognizable geometries, strokes and elements.

In this work he implements two techniques: collage and acrylic on paper.

Gabo portrays a woman surrounded by different images. Among them, a very famous cartoon character and a character from a cereal brand stand out.

The bright purple background gives the work a unique touch.
